The Business to Business Account Executive (B2BAE) is an outside sales position responsible for prospecting new business customers in small to medium sized business (SMB) accounts. As accounts are established the B2BAE is responsible for maintaining existing accounts to obtain steady market growth. Business to Business Account Executives must possess a history of proven sales success in the business market, creative prospecting skills, and the ability to foster meaningful business relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Perform inside and outside prospecting activities to identify qualified accounts for new business development
- Develop a creative plan to generate leads through prospecting multiple sources, cold calling, in-person visits, and telephone and email campaigns
- Establish and maintain good relationships with clients, networking groups, professional organizations and the community in order to develop new business.
- Research and approach potential business customers
- Develop comprehensive sales presentation materials tailored to the needs of individual businesses
- Make formal sales presentations and follow-up calls to prospective new business accounts
- Consistently close new business subject to a monthly quota
- Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all services offered by SpeedNet and awareness of the competition, i.e. market share, pricing, services offered, etc.
- Complete all required Sales reports including pipeline activity and/or prospects for bids and proposals within assigned territory
- 2+ years of proven Business to Business (B2B) Sales (or equivalent sales) experience with a record of consistently exceeding quotas
- Previous experience as a sales professional in a fast paced quota driven environment as an Account Executive, Account Manager, Sales Manager, Territory Manager, Field Sales Representative, Channel Manager, Direct Sales Manager, Branch Manager, Business Development Manager or related title
- Experience selling in a high transactional sales environment
- Experience with short sales cycles and closing small and medium sized business accounts
- Background in telecommunication service sales strongly preferred
- Ability to present creative methods in generating and maintaining new business
- Proficiency using Excel, MS Word, Outlook, and the Internet
- Bachelors Degree in Business or related field preferred

Marketing Representative
SpeedNet, Mid-Michigan’s largest FCC-licensed High-Speed Wireless Internet Company, is seeking full-time Field Marketing Representative.The Marketing Representative will be responsible for the strategic and tactical sales coordination of our Mid Michigan markets. You will guide our direct and indirect sales channels, marketing opportunities and attain personal sales goals via B2B and B2C selling.
Job Responsibilities:
- Direct sales activities for the indirect and direct channels and meet personal sales goals to achieve total market goals and objectives
- Meet monthly sales quotas and report weekly activities
- Identify new market opportunities for expanded distribution channels
- Conduct ongoing analysis and sales forecasting for all distribution channels to ensure gross add objectives are attained.
- Play critical role in establishing indirect dealer relationships in the local market.
- Maintain customer base by developing effective "save" strategies.
- Establish and maintain strong community relationships on SpeedNet' s behalf.
- Interact with internal departments to resolve Authorized Representative/customer concerns.
- 0 – 3 years of marketing/sales experience
- BS/BA degree preferred
